Get to know LaDonna

LaDonna Jackson is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in psychiatric medication management, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and complex relationship dynamics. She works with adolescents, adults, couples, and current and former military service members using a holistic, trauma-informed approach to psychiatric care. LaDonna understands that many clients come to treatment carrying a weight that feels too heavy to bear alone, disconnected from their loved ones, and completely exhausted by the daily cycle of mental health struggles.

Through a compassionate, client-centered treatment lens, which incorporates evidence-based techniques alongside specialized medication management, she helps clients stabilize their symptoms, build practical coping skills, improve communication, and develop a greater sense of balance and connection.

LaDonna earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Rivier University. Her deep clinical expertise is grounded in many years of hands-on experience working in high-intensity critical care and emergency care settings, providing her with a profound understanding of crisis management, acute stress, and the intersection of physical and psychological health.

As a Gulf War veteran, her profound respect for those who serve and her lifelong passion for mental health advocacy are deeply personal. She dedicated her career to psychiatry to bridge the gap between physical and emotional well-being for military families and civilians alike, ensuring every individual and couple feels deeply heard, respected, and active in their own care. Her psychiatric style is warm, collaborative, and entirely judgment-free; creating a safe space where people can unpack their struggles and build a practical roadmap toward long-term wellness.

Outside of her clinical work, LaDonna is dedicated to personal wellness. She loves watching her son compete in swimming, hunting for unique treasures while antiquing, and traveling with her family. She believes that true healing requires looking at the whole person and the relationships that support them, and she is dedicated to helping her clients find their footing.
