Get to know Monica
Monica Khan, LCSW, offers a safe, supportive space for children, teens, and families navigating emotional challenges, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and divorce. She believes that preteens and adolescents are incredibly resilient—and with the right support, empowerment, and trust, they can heal and grow.
Your child or teen may be experiencing anxiety, fear, sadness, or self-criticism. These feelings can sometimes show up as panic attacks, anger, withdrawal, or difficulty getting out of bed. As a parent, you want them to feel more at ease in both mind and body—and to treat themselves with greater compassion.
Monica focuses on building a strong therapeutic alliance, especially with her younger clients. She understands the importance of meeting them where they are, while helping them process difficult emotions and life transitions.
Monica earned her Masters in Social Work from the University of Georgia. She tailors therapy for each client, combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and creative therapies to help clients individualize their treatment and reach their goals.
Through empathy, connection, and guidance, Monica helps young people move from uncertainty toward confidence and emotional wellbeing. She is currently booking sessions for new clients at Lifeologie Counseling St. Johns. Call (904) 893-3237 to schedule an appointment with Monica today!
