Get to know Samantha
Samantha Moore, LCMHC, offers a safe and relaxed therapy environment for adolescents, adults, and couples at Lifeologie Counseling Raleigh. She works closely with teens navigating anxiety, depression, identity development, peer relationships, academic stress, and life transitions. Growing up in a military family that relocated often has gifted her with an adaptable, open-minded nature that informs her calm, validating approach - one that is especially helpful for tweens, teens, and young adults building emotional insight, confidence, and healthy coping skills during critical developmental years.
In her work with adults, Samantha supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, self-esteem challenges, and personality-related concerns. She is professionally trained in EMDR for trauma healing. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and meaning-centered approaches to help clients better understand thought patterns, emotional responses, and relational dynamics.
Samantha is an LGBTQIA+ affirming counselor who provides inclusive, identity-affirming therapy for people exploring gender identity, sexual orientation, and self-expression. She is deeply committed to offering a nonjudgmental space for clients to learn who they are and strengthen their sense of authenticity and belonging.
Samantha also provides couples counseling, helping partners improve communication, repair trust, and find ways to reconnect. Building on her training in the Gottman Method, she offers practical tools that support healthier, more secure relationships.
Samantha earned her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Mars Hill University, where she volunteered at a homeless shelter, a food pantry, and an after-school program called “Girls on the Run” which helped young girls build self-esteem and healthy habits.
When Samantha is not working, she enjoys reading, traveling, and artistic hobbies such as paper crafting, crochet, and painting. She believes it is a privilege to work with people on their journey of building a meaningful life.
