A Wellness Workshop for Teens and Young Adults:

Did you know that one in five teens will experience depression? Most people think depression means crying all the time, but symptoms range from feeling exhausted (no matter how much sleep you get), never feeling like eating or eating too much, feeling helpless, irritable, and likely to lose your temper. This workshop is intended for teens and young adults who want to learn what depression is and how to manage their symptoms. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in brief activities to help better their understanding and discover what coping strategies work best for them.

The presenter of this workshop is Angelica Salazar, LCMHCA. Angelica has experience working with adolescents and teens in crisis. She enjoys helping adolescents and teens discover the meaning of their emotions and teaching different techniques to help manage intense emotions.

The group meets online twice a week for 1 hour each time. Sign up below or call for information on future events.
