Brent Strunk is a therapist at Lifeologie Counseling Oak Cliff who offers in-person and telehealth counseling for with adults navigating the ups and downs of life. Whether you’re feeling stuck in relationships, overwhelmed by stress, or weighed down by depression or anxiety, Brent provides a safe and supportive space to explore challenges and discover new ways forward.
Brent specializes in helping adults who feel trapped by worry, stress, or low mood. He works alongside clients to unpack the underlying causes of their anxiety or depression, offering tools to cope, build resilience, and restore balance in everyday life.
From starting a new career to moving cities or facing unexpected change, Brent supports young and mid-life adults through seasons of transition. His compassionate, collaborative approach helps clients embrace uncertainty, reduce overwhelming feelings, and connect with their authentic selves.
Healthy relationships are key to well-being, yet they can also be one of life’s greatest challenges. Brent helps clients explore communication patterns, navigate conflict, and strengthen both romantic and platonic connections with honesty and empathy.
With a professional background in the medical field, specifically in pain management, Brent understands how physical pain and emotional health are deeply connected. He works with clients experiencing chronic headaches, back pain, joint injuries, or other ongoing conditions, helping them manage both the physical and mental toll. This unique perspective allows him to provide holistic support at the intersection of body and mind.
Brent earned his Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences from Hendrix College and is currently completing his Master of Science in Counseling at Southern Methodist University. His approach is Person-Centered, ensuring each session is tailored to the client’s unique story and goals.
Outside the therapy room, Brent enjoys riding his motorcycle through the Texas countryside, gaming with friends, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his two cats—who, he admits, keep him humble at home. His warmth, life experience, and commitment to authentic connection guide his work in helping clients find clarity, healing, and growth.
