Get to know Susan

Susan Carrie Fry is a compassionate therapist who cares deeply about supporting adults and teens as they pursue personal growth and meaningful change, especially when navigating stress, anxiety, codependency, grief, and issues that affect the LGBTQ+ community. She strives to create an atmosphere of safety and authenticity where clients can feel heard and understood at Lifeologie Counseling Midlothian. As a certified Autism-Informed Professional, she helps neurodivergent clients focus on their strengths and build a repertoire of resources for reducing anxiety and negative thoughts.

Carrie’s approach encourages self-reflection and practical skill-building using evidence-based methods tailored for each client. She grounds her therapy sessions in a holistic appreciation of our vital human needs: belonging, security and significance.

Carrie’s background in education, working with dogs, and the challenges of being a stay-at-home mom allow her to bring expertise and empathy into the therapy space.

She recently earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University and finds her new chapter as a therapist deeply rewarding. When she’s not working at Lifeologie, she enjoys listening to music, reading, and hiking with her family.
