Get to know Courtney

Courtney Callaway Ball specializes in working with teens and adults who are struggling with  anxiety, grief and loss, and with women experiencing infertility, pregnancy, and postpartum depression. She is trained in psychotherapeutic yoga and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and uses these techniques to help clients with complicated grief, disturbing memories, and stress reduction. Courtney enjoys combining traditional talk therapy with mindfulness, movement, and experiential activities. As an accomplished artist and creative soul, she incorporates expressive arts into her sessions to effect change, allowing clients to create new insight and growth.

At the early age of 14, Courtney lost her father to pancreatic cancer. Through her own grief counseling, she learned how beneficial the counseling process can be. From her first-hand experience, she developed a desire to become a grief counselor to help others through their life-and-death struggles.

Courtney also became a first-time mother in 2022, and throughout her own pregnancy and postpartum journey, she realized she has a calling to work with this population, as well as those embarking on the life-long journey of parenthood

Courtney was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, and enjoys the DFW area. Growing up, she spent the majority of her time outdoors or drawing. When she’s not seeing clients at Lifeologie Counseling, she enjoys spending time with her family or being outside. She also has a legendary affection for cheese, particularly queso.  Encanta queso!
