Life transitions can be challenging, especially when we are unsure where to turn to for support. Working on relationships and learning to manage life’s unexpected curveballs is where growth happens in therapy, and where therapist Julie Woltil, PhD, would like to meet you on your journey!

Julie is a licensed psychologist with vast experience supporting people who are navigating relational challenges, anxiety, depression, and general life transition issues. She loves to work with adolescents, emerging adults, adults, and couples.

Julie has a strong neuropsychological background and will be offering psychological testing for children and teens at Lifeologie Counseling Ada in Michigan. Her focus includes evaluations for ADHD, learning disabilities, and other neurodevelopmental and cognitive deficits.

During the last 15 years, Julie has been active in academia, teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses, most recently at Calvin University, Johnson University and upcoming courses at Michigan State University. She also chairs many dissertation committees for doctoral students and enjoys talking about all things stats and research!

As a therapist, Julie focuses on support and compassion, which are often lacking in our busy lives. Through insight-driven relational therapy, she will help you meet your goals and help discover greater awareness and attunement as to what makes you unique and wonderful!

Julie is originally from Montreal, Canada, and French is her first language. She has lived on both coasts, New York and California, before settling into Grand Rapids, MI in 2015. When she is not working, she loves going on hikes, going to pub trivia with her husband, and joining in family board game night with her four children.
