She enjoys working with couples and relational clients to enact change in a system to improve its functioning and satisfaction in the relationship. Creating awareness and understanding of our experiences growing up can contribute to one's ability to create change in current relationships. She is passionate about creating a safe space for individuals and couples to reflect, grow, and feel empowered to enact change to achieve their goals.
Madi was born and raised in Mansfield, TX. She believes that our family of origin, life experiences, and environment inform who we are, our behaviors, and how we relate to others. She has worked in the behavioral health field for the last five years working as a direct care case manager before she began supervising and training Qualified Mental Health Professionals to work with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. Growing up she struggled with depression, anxiety, and disordered eating. As she got older and started studying psychology, she began to understand that her experiences and ability to empathize deeply with others weren’t a weakness but could be used to help people. Madi believes this is her purpose.
Madi completed her Bachelor's Degree at the University of North Texas, where she majored in Integrative Studies with a concentration in Psychology, Kinesiology, and Health/Rehabilitation. She obtained her Master of Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University Online.
When she isn’t working, she enjoys family game nights, lounging with her dog, hiking and exercising, and listening to live music.
