Nikki Jones, LPC, received her Bachelor's degree in Human Relations and Business and earned her Master's in Professional Counseling from Amberton University. She sees adolescents, adults and families. Are you having difficulty with self-image, relationship struggles, or a sudden life event or  transition? By providing a comfortable and safe environment, Nikki can help you explore any issue that may be weighing you down and figure out a path forward. She utilizes a Person-Centered, Solution-Focused and  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach, to help you process painful emotions, discuss potential barriers and equip you with actionable steps to help get you where you want to be.

Nikki knows firsthand that going to therapy can feel scary. Talking to someone about your struggles is a vulnerable place to be, so choosing a counselor you can trust and connect with is important. Nikki places value on building a therapeutic relationship that is supportive, trusting, compassionate, and  nonjudgmental. Her goal is to help people facing everyday problems overcome challenges and live their best lives.

Nikki’s counseling experience has provided her with the privilege of working in various mental health settings, including mental health clinics and psychiatric hospitals, where she provided support to individuals, teenagers in and out of school environments, families experiencing a wide range of obstacles, community tragedy, and crisis counseling. This experience has allowed her to meet each person where they are and to better assist with identifying stressors in the hope of helping to cope with life’s everyday challenges.

Nikki is a people person by nature, with extensive human relations experience. For 24 years, she worked for a major global brand in Corporate America in a variety of roles including Human Resources. In her free time, Nikki enjoys hanging out with family, and friends,  traveling, going to the movies, and crafting.
