Get to know Rebecca
With a background in Clinical Exercise Science and a strong commitment to mental health advocacy, Chandler, Arizona therapist Rebecca Bagwell takes a client-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach to therapy, empowering individuals to embrace their authenticity and personal growth.
Rebecca has experience working with diverse populations, including the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with disabilities, and those navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, and major life transitions. As a dedicated Master’s Level Counseling Intern, she has gained expertise providing individual counseling, facilitating psychoeducational groups, supporting crisis intervention, and assisting with resource coordination. Her mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and affirming space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered in their healing journey.
Using a holistic and trauma-informed framework, Rebecca tailors therapy to each client’s unique needs, fostering resilience, self-awareness, and emotional regulation skills. She is passionate about mental wellness, self-care strategies, and integrative healing that nurtures both mind and body.
Rebecca earned her Bachelor’s in Clinical Exercise Science from Arizona State University and is currently advancing her expertise in mental health by completing her Master of Social Work at Grand Canyon University.
Outside of her professional work, Rebecca enjoys weightlifting, practicing yoga, reading, baking, traveling with her partner, and taking her cats on stroller walks.
