Get to know Aleia

Aleia works with adult individuals who struggle with issues such as life transitions, stress management, mental performance, anxiety, self-esteem, self-worth, women's issues, men's issues, and career issues. She believes in establishing a safe and welcoming environment for clients to delve into their current challenges and embark on a journey of self-acceptance and growth. She aims to help others create their own personally meaningful realities and supports them in discovering and embracing their most genuine selves. She values a therapeutic environment that cultivates authenticity, open-mindedness, acceptance, individuality, creativity, and autonomy.

Aleia obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Purdue University Fort Wayne. After taking some time to work in the mental health field, she earned her Master of Science in Kinesiology, specializing in Exercise and Sport Psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. 

Aleia was born and raised in Indiana but relocated to Texas alongside her husband and cats. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring new places, spending time with friends and family, reading books, watching sports, participating in game nights, watching her favorite movies and TV shows, or snuggling with her cats, Daisy and Dora.
