Get to know Alicia
Licensed school psychologist Alicia Ash brings more than 10 years of experience to Lifeologie Counseling St. Johns, where she offers psychoeducational testing for clients ages 4-22. Her strong desire to help students and emerging young adults identify and work from their strengths is key to helping them overcome adversity they may face at school and home.
Alicia partners with families to help them confidently navigate the school system—starting with thoughtful consultation and case conceptualization, then working closely with school teams to ensure effective collaboration. She provides comprehensive, need-driven psychoeducational testing, along with student-specific, solution-focused recommendations that are tailored for both home and school. Alicia also offers support for building executive functioning skills to help students thrive in every environment.
Alicia received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Performance Management and a minor in Child Development from Florida State University. She earned her Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology and Education Specialist in School Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
During her time in Chicago, Alicia volunteered with multiple youth outreach programs, assisted professors with teaching, research and program evaluation, worked in trial consulting, and then transitioned into her school psychology role in public school settings within the city and surrounding suburbs. Alicia and her family relocated to Florida, where she worked as a school psychologist in St. Johns County School District for three and a half years.
In her free time, Alicia enjoys the beach, spending time with her husband and three children, reading mystery, psychological thriller, and historical fiction novels, and her Peloton. She is a breast cancer survivor and believes in living life to the fullest, teaching resiliency through action to her children.
