Baqi Martin, LCSW-S, is an accomplished clinical leader, educator, and behavioral health strategist with nearly two decades of experience driving innovation in mental health services. Known for his ability to blend compassionate clinical practice with operational excellence, he has developed, managed, and scaled programs that improve access, quality, and outcomes across diverse communities.
Baqi provides therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, specializing in trauma recovery, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, anxiety, depression, stress management, mood disorders, and relational concerns, including separations and divorce. His therapeutic approach integrates cognitive-behavioral strategies, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused interventions to meet clients where they are, fostering growth and resilience in a supportive environment.
Throughout his career, Baqi has held leadership roles in outpatient, residential, and court-based behavioral health systems. His work has focused on program development, evidence-based treatment implementation, and building high-performing teams. As Special Projects Manager for Veterans Court, he successfully launched and enhanced mental health initiatives that emphasized clinical quality, outcomes measurement, and staff training, helping to strengthen recovery pathways for justice-involved veterans.
In addition to his clinical work, Baqi is an experienced educator as a professor at various university & community higher education centers. A seasoned clinical supervisor, Baqi has mentored Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW) transitioning to independent licensure, equipping them with the confidence and clinical judgment to thrive in practice.
