Get to know Briana
Midlothian, Texas therapist Briana Bergman is passionate about helping adults, children, and teens. With a wealth of experience working at a children’s hospital, autism spectrum disorders clinic, and family advocacy center, Briana compassionately and expertly supports clients navigating anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, emotional regulation, attachment issues, life transitions, bullying, and other mental health challenges. She combines an honest and empathetic approach with evidence-based approaches including play therapy, person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
Briana’s goal is to provide a safe space for people of all ages to feel seen, accepted, and cared for. She provides age-appropriate interventions and outlets for children and teens to express and communicate their needs, and works collaboratively with their parents to provide continuity and exceptional care.
Briana was born and raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. She earned her Bachelor’s in Public Health from The University of Texas at Arlington and her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
Outside of work, Briana enjoys spending time outside hiking, bike riding, and kayaking. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and family, cooking, and traveling the world learning about different cultures!
