Get to know Deborah

Deborah Crocetti enjoys helping individuals, couples, and families find new solutions to navigate life's complexities, positively impacting generations while helping one person at a time. She specializes in helping clients with bipolar disorder, anxiety, couples work, depression, PTSD/trauma, Intimate Partner Violence, Christian Counseling, spiritual confusion, and substance abuse.

Deborah uses a solution-focused brief therapy model in addition to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help people get their lives back on track and enjoy everyday living once again. She is passionate about her work and fascinated by the resilience of people.

A graduate of Lee University, Deborah began her career as an elementary teacher and was deeply moved by the impact of family conflict on students' ability to learn. This motivated her to return to the classroom and complete her Master's in Marriage and Family Systems Therapy from Nova Southeastern University.

She has worked in a multitude of clinical settings, including Johns Hopkins University Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, and as the Clinical Director of several substance abuse treatment facilities. She also holds a specialty certification to work with First Responders. Deborah has been part of many crisis-response teams on the ground for natural disasters and the crash site of domestic air disasters.  She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Texas.

When not working, Deborah enjoys singing jazz music with her spouse, baking, and spending time with her 13 grandchildren! She volunteers her time to assist with various projects, including the fight against human trafficking and family violence, and provides Christian-based recovery classes at a local church.

Life is a journey we were not intended to walk alone.
