Get to know Dylan
Dylan is an LPC-A who is passionate about working with LGBT+ couples and individuals, men’s issues, and people experiencing anxiety or sexuality-related issues. Therapy and mental health became a passion of Dylan's after his own experience with therapy. Having gone through his own experiences with anxiety, Dylan saw the benefit of how a therapist can untangle the web of anxious thoughts and make them easier to navigate.
When working with clients Dylan to creates a welcoming, trusting environment where individuals feel safe and heard. He uses both CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) because of the connections between people's perceptions of their situations and Solution-Focused Therapy for clients who want more direct answers to their concerns. Collaboration is extremely important to Dylan in his approach and wants clients to be empowered and feel like they are working together toward a goal.
All his life Dylan has been involved in sports and was an elite gymnast until 2010. While he was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, his experience in the sport allowed him to travel all around the world and experience many different cultures and ways of life, which have always been of great interest to him.
In his free time, Dylan enjoys playing rugby, practicing his photography, spending time with his dog, and traveling with his partner.
