Get to know Maya

Are you ready to get curious about setting healthy boundaries? Building the relationships you’ve dreamed about? How to successfully navigate a major life transition? You’ve come to the right place - Meet Maya!

Maya is dedicated to establishing a non-judgmental space in which all individuals can be emotionally brave and feel confident about doing what it takes to build the life they envision. 

She sees adolescents, adults, couples, and families. If you are navigating a major life transition, learning to set boundaries, preparing for a shift in career, or need assistance addressing sexual concerns, from premarital counseling to polyamory, she’s here to help.

Maya views her role as helping clients develop new ways of understanding the context in which issues arise and roadblocks form so they can better make sense of their world and feel empowered to make the world better for themselves and others.

Education

Maya earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Texas Tech University, received her Master of Education in Adult and Higher Education from the University of Oklahoma, and is currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Counseling program at Southern Methodist University (SMU).

Fun Facts

Maya is a DFW native who enjoys spending quality time with her pup Crash and finding all the best spots around Dallas to kick back and relax. She has also worked in Student Affairs for nearly a decade and can answer just about any college-related question.
