Create and Connect: An Expressive Wellness Workshop for Girls

Growing up can feel complicated. Friendships change, emotions get bigger, confidence can waver, and sometimes it’s hard to find the words for what’s going on inside.

That's where Lifeologie Counseling Midlothian comes in. Create & Connect is our 1-day expressive wellness workshop for girls ages 10–13 designed to help participants explore their emotions, build self-confidence, and connect with others in a safe, supportive environment. Through creative art activities, guided discussion, and interactive skill-building exercises, girls will learn healthy ways to express themselves, communicate their feelings, and strengthen their emotional awareness.

This workshop offers a welcoming space for girls who may be experiencing stress, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, low self-esteem, friendship struggles, or feelings of isolation, and aims to help participants feel better understood, connected, and supported

Participants will discover that they are not alone in what they are feeling while gaining practical tools to navigate challenges with greater confidence and resilience.

Rather than focusing on perfection or artistic ability, Create & Connect encourages curiosity, self-expression, and meaningful connection. Through creativity and conversation, girls will have the opportunity to better understand themselves, celebrate their unique strengths, and leave feeling seen, supported, and empowered.

Whether your child is navigating a difficult season or could simply benefit from a space to connect and grow, this workshop provides a meaningful opportunity to build emotional wellness and healthy peer relationships.
