Looking for someone to help your young child or adolescent navigate their way through the challenges of life? Allison Stone is your girl! Allison specializes in working with young children, adolescents, adults, and families. She enjoys helping people navigate their way through tricky situations including anxiety, coping with big life changes, and managing various relationships. Allison has experience working in grief and bereavement, as well as domestic violence and intimate partner violence. Allison loves working with people, is passionate about her clinical work, and loves supporting people in finding and expressing their authentic selves.
Allison grew up in Hudsonville, Michigan, and attended Grand Valley State University for her Bachelor’s in Social Work (BSW) before moving to Ann Arbor to obtain her Master’s in Social Work (MSW) at the University of Michigan.
Allison loves working with kids and adults and has worked in the mental health field as a therapist in the Grand Rapids, Caledonia, and Saugatuck areas. When Allison isn’t working, you can find her drawing, reading mysteries, sitting at a coffee shop, watching crime documentaries, considering what dog to adopt next, or doing puzzles.
