Get to know Angelica

With deep empathy, understanding, and experience in helping clients manage the symptoms of their mental health difficulties and disorders, Angelica Philips sees adults, couples, and families at Lifeologie Counseling Hampton Roads. She specializes in supporting clients who are experiencing challenges such as anxiety, anger management, depression, addictive behaviors, trauma, and bipolar disorder. She also enjoys helping young adults ages 19 and up who are seeking to grow their independence, learn stress management skills, and navigate life stressors and transitions

She offers dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) for anxiety and PTSD as well as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for many mental health concerns. In couples counseling, Angelica specializes in conflict resolution and active listening. She is also a dedicated grief therapist.

Angelica received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University and is a Qualified Mental Health Professional and a pre-licensed resident in counseling. She sees telehealth clients throughout Virginia.

Angelica is genuine in her care for her community, assisting clients with the guidance she has learned to provide through her professional training and personal experience. Her own struggles and success in finding healthier avenues to move forward have equipped her with a wise and mature approach to therapy. Yet, she continues to strive to learn more about innovations in psychology and is always seeking ways to widen her horizons to inform her treatment approaches for each individual client and couple.
