Get to know Briana

Midlothian, Texas therapist Briana Bergman is passionate about helping adolescents and adults. With a wealth of experience working at a family advocacy center, inpatient hospital unit, and autism spectrum disorders clinic, Briana compassionately and expertly supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, emotional regulation, attachment issues, life transitions, childhood wounds, and other mental health challenges. She combines an honest and empathetic approach with evidence-based approaches including person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).

Briana’s goal is to provide a safe space for people to feel seen, accepted, and cared for. She believes in a collaborative approach and meets clients where they are by asking questions and helping build skills that will last beyond sessions. She will strive to create a welcoming therapeutic environment, where you can freely explore and share your thoughts.

Briana was born and raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. She earned her Bachelor’s in Public Health from The University of Texas at Arlington and her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.

Outside of work, Briana enjoys spending time with her husband and family, spending time outdoors, doing crafts, and traveling the world learning about different cultures!
