Christian Walsh, Masters Level Intern, received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas at Dallas (UNT Dallas).

He is experienced working with problems including trauma, grief, depression, OCD, phobias, personality disorders, anxiety, ADHD, couple’s counseling, self-harm interventions, DBT, and anger management. He has a passion for helping adolescents and adults navigate their way through trauma, grief, and mental health disorders.

Christian has a strong drive to ensure that any client working with him feels heard, cared for, understood, and safe. This starts with a therapeutic environment that provides empathy and safety. His existential style of counseling helps him to approach whatever problems are presented by the client with a calm, supportive, and philosophical outlook. Christian strives to help adults find purpose, strengthen their core identity, develop self-confidence and self-control, and reframe past trauma so that it no longer pulls the strings.

Christian was born in Orange, California but spent most of his life in Tennessee, Scotland, and Texas. Christian has been able to expand his world view and cultural competency over his 26 years traveling to all 50 US states, 16 other countries, and every continent but Antartica. When he’s not working with clients at Lifeologie Counseling, he works as captain of the 2023 division championship eSports team at UNT Dallas.
