Get to know Christine
Christine To has a passion for helping clients restore their lives to their fullest potential. She has experience working with adolescents and adults experiencing severe and complex traumas, anxiety, grief and loss, as well as helping teens and families in crisis. She is also a dedicated play therapist who helps children of all ages work through difficult challenges. Christine meets her clients where they are, and from that starting point creates a plan for restoration and healing.
In this broken world of hurt and loss, Christine believes in the healing power of healthy relationships that work as a “safe haven” for one to venture out into inner self-exploration and outer self-connection to make life worth living.
Christine received her Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary after teaching for many years in Vietnam.
She believes in the power of play for children to reach their potential and to know that they are not alone in their journey. As an international student living in the US, Christine understands how hard it can be to feel like you belong, especially in times of big transition. It has given her the cultural humility and insights for working with people from all different backgrounds.
When not working, you can find her fumbling through the neighborhood with her new roller-skating hobby. If not, then she is somewhere reading or taking a nap.
