Get to know Diana

Diana Ramirez specializes in play therapy with children ages 4-10 and is also passionate about working with teens and young adults embarking on new life transitions. She is experienced in helping clients with depression, anxiety, anger management, trauma, and gender issues, and has a unique understanding of multicultural issues within the Latinx community.

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Diana graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. After 3 years of working as a Registered Behavior Technician in Applied Behavior Analysis (and through her own experiences with mental health), Diana realized she wanted to help others identify and work through their problems. She then completed her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas Denton.

Diana works to create an open, safe space for individuals to express themselves without the fear of judgment, to grow, and be empowered to live their best lives. Her approach is person-centered, customized for each individual’s needs. She continues to educate herself on new therapy techniques and incorporates them to better help her clients understand and achieve their goals.

When she’s not working, Diana enjoys watching movies, baking, going out with friends and family, spending time with her dogs Stark and Bucky, and attending concerts.
