Get to know Diana

Diana Ramirez, LPC, offers therapy for general anxiety, stress and burnout, generational trauma within the Latinx community, and play therapy with children ages 4 and up at Lifeologie Counseling Fort Worth. Diana is passionate about working with women and young girls who are experiencing emotional shifts, societal pressures, struggling with body image, low self-esteem, or difficulty navigating through life’s transitions. She offers online therapy and in-person sessions in Spanish and English.

By utilizing unconditional positive regard, Diana collaborates with her clients to gain insight, identify and process feelings, and manage symptoms of distress. Through a person-centered approach, which is customized for each individual’s needs, she hopes to build a relationship with her clients that is empathetic and encouraging.

Diana takes time to explore the impact of her client’s lived experiences on their current self to fully understand each unique individual and their needs. Diana’s ultimate goal is to use a humanistic approach to help her clients resolve any discrepancies and achieve self-awareness and authenticity while feeling empowered.

Growing up in a Hispanic household, mental health was frowned upon. Diana’s own struggles with anxiety and not having the words to express herself, nor the skills to reduce the occurrence of what she was feeling, made her eager to feel heard and understood. Diana’s willingness to be a safe space for others to be their authentic selves and explore their feelings unapologetically led her to pursue a Master's in Clinical Mental Health from the University of North Texas Denton. Before fully stepping into her counseling role, Diana worked as an Applied Behavior Analysis therapist for 3 years, which allowed her to gain a deeper understanding into the neurodiversity community.

When she is not counseling, Diana enjoys staying in, watching TV, hanging out with family, or playing with her dogs Stark and Bucky. Diana loves concerts, traveling, and discovering new coffee flavors.
