Get to know Dylan

Through his experience of being a camp counselor and youth minister, Dylan Hernandez heard a calling to pursue a career in counseling. Building on his solid foundation of working with children and families, Dylan now sees children, adolescents, and young adults of all backgrounds who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other challenges.

Dylan helps his clients realize they have power over their problems and they can learn the tools to make changes in their lives to live successfully. He has a heart for helping others and seeks to make a difference in their lives. He prides himself on listening to every client that he works with so that each client feels heard and valued. He excels at encouraging his clients and helping them achieve their goals. 

Dylan received his BA from Howard Payne University, and earned a Masters in Family Ministry and a second Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hardin Simmons University. 

In his free time, Dylan enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and their daughter. They enjoy family dinners and going to movies and playing games together. Dylan was raised in Cedar Hill, Texas and is a huge sports fan, especially the Cowboys and Rangers. He is a diehard fan of these teams. So, you know he will stick with his clients through the good times and the not-so-good times! He has played guitar since he was 16 and is also a big fan of video games.
