Some of his focus areas include men’s issues, career issues, LGBTQ+ affirming counseling, LGBTQ aging and senior issues, and gender identity issues.

Jim works with clients to create an environment of warmth, openness, and empathy. His approach is humanistic, exploratory, and practical. He enjoys working together to explore emotions and key life experiences and uncover and challenge thoughts, actions, or beliefs that may no longer be effective. He believes that awareness opens the door to change, and that the answers to feeling better may already be within you, waiting to emerge. He enjoys working with people to reduce distress, overcome obstacles, and achieve their goals.
