Maddi is a native Texan and grew up in the DFW area. She has also lived in California and Connecticut. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University in Speech Language Pathology, and is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern Methodist University. Maddi is also diligently working on publishing her first academic paper in a Group Counseling Journal with a professor from her master’s Program. This paper contains information about the effectiveness of Music Therapy in Group Counseling for children and adults who are in active bereavement.
When she is not seeing client’s, Maddi likes to write music, read, journal, cook, spend time with her dogs, and spend time with her husband. She also loves to run, swim, and exercise during her free time.
