Therapist Misty Lea brings more than two decades of leadership experience in Corporate Treasury and Accounting into her counseling practice, blending strategic thinking with compassionate care. She works with adolescents and adults navigating complex family dynamics, trauma, and emotional challenges, and is currently booking telehealth and in-person sessions for new clients at Lifeologie Counseling Rockwall

Misty’s clinical focus includes family violence, addictive behaviors, anxiety, depression, complex PTSD, emotional dysregulation, intrusive thoughts, and identity-related concerns. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a spiritually inclusive perspective, believing that our thought life shapes our outcomes and healing journey.

She earned her Bachelors in Family Studies from Texas Woman’s University and is currently pursuing her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Amberton University. She is also completing certification in Level 1 Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

Rooted in values of empathy, grace, and authentic connection, Misty creates a safe, affirming space for clients to explore their experiences and grow. She believes every person’s path is unique and lifelong, and she approaches each client with curiosity and respect.

For clients drawn to holistic paths, she honors the healing power of movement, touch, scent, and alignment—welcoming practices such as yoga, chiropractic medicine, massage therapy, and aromatherapy as meaningful complements to emotional growth. Outside the therapy room, Misty is a proud mom, spiritual seeker, and lifelong roller skating enthusiast—often found jam skating at local Dallas rinks. She also avidly plays Pokemon Go and understands the significance of the social support and risks found in the gaming culture.
