Are you ready to take the next step in your story? Paul McMullen is a compassionate counselor at Lifeologie Counseling Plano/Richardson, where he specializes in psychodynamic and emotion-focused therapy for men (including young men ages 12+), couples counseling, and family therapy

Paul earned his Masters in Counseling from Concordia University – Irvine and a Master of Divinity from Harding School of Theology. He brings years of experience as a counselor, coach, and group facilitator. His therapeutic style draws from psychodynamic and emotion-focused therapy, attachment theory, somatic therapy, internal family systems, and neuroscience. Whether you’re working through pain, experiencing anxiety, seeking personal growth, or longing for deeper relationships, he is here to help you uncover your unique path forward.

His diverse experiences, from cross-cultural ministry in Vancouver, Canada to coaching leaders and individuals from varied backgrounds, taught Paul the power of tailored, empathetic support. Clients value his ability to listen deeply, offer practical insights, and foster transformative growth in a non-judgmental environment.

Outside of counseling, he's a husband to Julie, his wife of 20 years, and a proud dad to two lively teenage sons. In 2021, Paul founded WellSpring Process Groups, a group coaching experience that helps people delve deeper into relational support and connection. In his free time, you’ll find him sipping coffee, coaching his kids’ basketball teams, or sharing meaningful conversations with friends.
