Get to know Taylor
Taylor Landon offers therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and family changes. She also has a special interest in working with neurodivergent children and adolescents, including those on the autism spectrum. She often incorporates play therapy techniques and creative, age-appropriate activities into her work with younger clients to help them express and process their emotions.
Taylor creates a warm, supportive space at Lifeologie Counseling Midlothian where clients can let their guard down, feel heard, and explore what’s really going on in their thoughts and emotions without judgment or pressure to have it all figured out. She believes therapy should feel collaborative and personal, meeting each client where they are while helping them move toward greater self-awareness, confidence, and emotional well-being.
Grounded in a person-centered approach, Taylor draws from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), somatic therapy, and other evidence-based techniques to help clients understand patterns, manage difficult emotions, develop healthier coping skills, and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges. She also recognizes that mental health is deeply personal and, when meaningful to the client, welcomes the integration of faith and spirituality into the counseling process.
Taylor earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University after completing her Bachelor’s in Psychology with minors in Communications and Criminal Justice from Tabor College. Her goal is to help clients understand themselves, build on their strengths, and create meaningful change that feels authentic. She brings experience working with children, teens, and adults in a variety of settings, including individualized behavioral support to children on the autism spectrum.
Outside of the professional counseling space, Taylor enjoys spending time with her husband and family, staying active, reading, singing, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
