Wednesday McKinney offers therapy for children, teens, and young adults from a variety of diverse backgrounds, including those with unique learning and developmental needs. She has extensive experience supporting young people in schools, preschools, after-school programs, and in-home settings, strengthening her deep understanding of how young people grow, learn, and express themselves. She specializes in supporting clients struggling with ADHD, anxiety, bullying, emotional regulation, self-esteem, social concerns, and life transitions.
Wednesday uses play therapy and creative approaches to support emotional expression in ways that feel natural and developmentally appropriate. Through play, art, and expressive activities, she encourages emotional awareness and guides her young clients to develop healthy coping strategies and build confidence through practical skills they can use in everyday life.
Wednesday embodies Lifeologie’s creative, collaborative mission. She values partnering with parents and caregivers to support each child’s growth and wellbeing. She is committed to providing a welcoming environment where children and teens can explore feelings, develop resilience, and gain skills that help them thrive.
She is passionate about working with families and meeting each client where they are, creating a warm space where they can express their thoughts and feelings, and fostering genuine connections throughout the counseling process. She believes every child deserves a safe environment in which to process emotions without fear of judgment.
In her free time, Wednesday enjoys creative self-care, including painting, coloring, watching movies, and spending quality time with family and friends. She believes play, fun, and connection help her relate to young clients in a warm, authentic way.
