Denna Neighbors

A Texas native, Denna Neighbors grew up in a large, close-knit family. After the profound loss of her husband, she was inspired to pursue a career in therapy and to help others navigate their own healing journeys. 

As an LPC-A, Denna specializes in helping teens and women navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. She integrates a range of therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, to create a compassionate and structured environment for healing.

Denna and her daughter are part of a blended family that includes her significant other and stepson. Her personal experiences have deepened her empathy and understanding, shaping her compassionate approach to therapy.

She earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas at Dallas.

Outside of her work with clients, Denna enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring nature trails, and ATVing. She also loves spending quality time with family and relaxing with a good book or watching documentaries.
