Get to know Bobbie
Dr. Bobbie Jean Way is a licensed marriage and family therapist who specializes in guiding couples, individuals, children, and first responders through difficult life situations. She works with clients to address anxiety, depression, relational problems, self-esteem, trauma, PTSD, as well as grief and loss. Her approach aims to instill hope and motivation to help clients achieve their goals.
Bobbie Jean believes therapy is a courageous step toward healing and growth. She provides a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered to talk about life’s struggles. Her conversational intake process is designed to ease clients into therapy without overwhelming them with endless questions. Rather than taking a passive role, Bobbie Jean offers feedback, practical tools, and encouragement to help clients build confidence, make healthy life changes, and feel a sense of accomplishment throughout their journey.
Her client-centered approach blends warmth with guidance, meeting people where they are while motivating them to move toward their goals and feel a sense of accomplishment.
Bobbie Jean earned her both her Masters and Doctor of Psychology in Marriage and Family Counseling from Alliant International University, where her dissertation explored alternative treatments for combat veterans with PTSD; work that deepened her commitment to supporting first responders and trauma survivors.
Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, Bobbie is passionate about instilling hope and creating meaningful change. She is currently booking sessions for new clients at Lifeologie Counseling St. Johns. Reach out and connect today to take the first step toward achieving your mental health goals!
