Rachael Doucet is committed to equipping individuals, couples, and families to live their lives to the absolute fullest. She creates a safe and nurturing environment where clients feel seen, heard, and valued as they work toward healing and growth.

Specializing in divorce and separation, premarital counseling, family systems, parenting, trauma, and couples therapy, Rachael also provides children’s counseling and support for adults navigating anxiety, stress management, and sexual issues. She is dedicated to offering hope and actionable solutions to clients facing a range of challenges, including those in need of last-ditch couples counseling.

Rachael’s kind and candid disposition fosters trust and authenticity, allowing clients to explore their challenges with confidence. Rachael believes in empowering people to navigate life’s transitions with grace, resilience and purpose, drawing on a systemic approach to promote lasting change.

Rachael earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her education, paired with her compassionate and empathetic demeanor, helps her guide clients through the complexities of life with care and expertise.

As the third of seven children in a household led by her parents, conservative pastors of a local church, Rachael grew up in a home shaped by faith but also marked by a myriad of challenges and ongoing abuse. Working through her own trauma in therapy further equipped Rachael with profound empathy, enabling her to deeply understand and connect with others' experiences.  Rather than letting her painful experiences define her, Rachael transformed her pain into a powerful sense of purpose, which fuels her unwavering passion and commitment to helping others. Her journey of resilience has become a guiding force in her work, creating an environment where individuals feel truly understood, supported, and valued.

Married to her high school sweetheart for 25 years, Rachael has navigated the highs and lows of life alongside her partner. As a proud mother of adult children, she brings yet another layer of wisdom and insight to her work, being able to draw from her own experiences to better understand and support others. Her vivacious personality can light up any room, and her approachable, emphatic nature invites clients to share openly. Whether working with children, individuals, or couples, Rachael’s dedication to equating, equipping, and empowering her clients ensures they leave her sessions feeling prepared to lead lives filled with hope, purpose, and fulfillment.
