Get to know Alyssa

Alyssa believes that everyone should feel accepted, respected, supported, and have a safe environment to express their thoughts and emotions. Life is full of challenges, and she believes healing is a lifelong process. Through counseling, individuals can improve their coping mechanisms, develop emotional intelligence, and boost their self-confidence and consciousness.

After working with children on the autism spectrum and their families for over 4+ years, Alyssa has developed a passion for working with children, adolescents, and neurodiverse populations. She also has an interest in working with trauma and abuse survivors. 

Alyssa was born and raised in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University, where she majored in Psychology.  Currently Alyssa is pursuing a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Tarleton State University in Fort Worth, Texas. 

Alyssa is happiest when spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys taking her dogs for walks, traveling, exercise, and trying new restaurants.
