Get to know Lexus
Therapist Lexus Goodwin specializes in treating eating disorders, anxiety, depression, body image concerns, trauma, PTSD, and challenges related to faith — including Christian counseling and church related hurt. She works with children, teens, and adults at Lifeologie Counseling Plano/Richardson in Texas.
Lexus collaborates with her clients to explore how past experiences, beliefs, and emotional patterns may be impacting their present lives. Her counseling style is warm, relational, and client-centered, providing a safe space where individuals can share openly and without judgment. She is especially drawn to supporting clients who feel alone in their struggles and are seeking someone to walk with them toward hope and wholeness.
Her approach to therapy integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), client centered therapy and trauma-informed care. She also offers faith-integrated counseling for those who wish to incorporate their Christian beliefs into the therapeutic process. Whether working with disordered eating, trauma, church hurt, or emotional distress, Lexus meets each client with empathy, grace, and practical tools for change.
Her desire to become a counselor was deeply personal — shaped by her own experiences with anxiety, depression, disordered eating, and trauma. Having longed for a safe person to talk to in her youth, she now strives to be that trusted presence for others.
Lexus earned her Masters in Professional Counseling from Amberton University and her Bachelors in Psychology from Dallas Baptist University. Her clinical training includes work in private practice and community-based settings, where she has supported clients across the lifespan.
Outside of counseling, Lexus enjoys reading her Bible, spending time with family and friends, walking her dog, and shopping. She is honored to walk with clients toward healing, clarity, and a renewed sense of self.
